One dose of Sentry HC® WormX Plus®is your dogs’ recommended monthly treatment. If you need to retreat your dog, we recommend that you ask a veterinarian to perform a fecal test on your dog, to rule out any other issues.
If you are certain that your pet had worms before giving them Sentry HC® WormX Plus® , you will more than likely see a large quantity of worms within the first few days after treatment. The number of worms will begin to taper off, but you may see worms for up to one week. The majority of the worms will be dead, but it is possible to find live worms also. Be sure to remove and dispose of all fecal matter properly.
Our Sentry HC® WormX® product line, which includes: WormX DS Liquid for Dogs, WormX for Small Dogs and WormX for Large Dogs will remove large roundworms and hookworms. Sentry HC® WormX Plus® treats Tapeworms, Hookworms and Roundworms. We do not have any products that will kill whipworms or heartworm.
A follow-up fecal exam should be conducted in 2 to 4 weeks after the first treatment to determine the need for retreatment. For Maximum control, it is recommended that puppies be treated at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks of age. Lactating bitches should be treated 2 – 3 week after whelping. Adult dogs should be routinely treated at monthly intervals to protect against T. canis reinfestation. Retreatment of adult dogs may be necessary at monthly intervals as determined by lab fecal exams or in animals kept in known contaminated quarters.

You should not use this wormer or any other pet health care product if it has expired. Although the product would be unlikely be harmful to your pet, it would probably not be effective in removing worms.
The Sentry HC Good Behavior™ Pheromone Collar should be worn along side the regular collar or chain, so it is in contact with the skin. It can be worn with a flea and tick collar.Do not: Cover the Good Behavior Pheromone Collar with another collar or bandana.
Use a Citronella collar with the Good Behavior Pheromone Collar as that scent interferes with the perception of pheromones.
When the collar is placed, the perception of the pheromones by the dog is immediate. However, as in every behavior program, the visible improvement in specific behaviors requires some time, depending on a variety of factors: the dog, the nature, duration and severity of the problem, and behavior modification (dog and owner). Usually, an improvement in specific dog behavior signs is seen during the first two weeks after wearing the Collar, but some dogs require a month to exhibit visible improvement.
The Sentry HC Good Behavior™ Pheromone Collar is expected to release the pheromone for 30 days. The Collar will stop releasing pheromones suddenly and clients usually notice a behavior change in their dog by the next day.
If the Sentry HC Good Behavior™ Pheromone Collar gets wet, it should be taken off and wiped dry in order to maintain continual release of pheromone. It can then be replaced on the dog with no loss of efficacy.
